Why “inerlogic?”

December 17th, 2009

way back in the dark days of the internet, before the web was first unleashed by Tim Berners-Lee… there were dial-up access accounts, internet accounts had numbers, not names. not long after, a service came along which allowed you to choose your online account name. it was limited to a maximum of nine characters. Bad Religion released a song called “Inner Logic” which struck a chord with me back then (and to this day 15-odd years later) so i chose that for my online name. with the second ‘n’ and the space, that’s 11 characters… so the extra ‘n’ and the space had to go.

i don’t need people telling me how to spell, or telling me that my spelling is incorrect.

my name is *not* “Inner Logic” it is inerlogic.

deal.
